Christ Church History Brief
Christ Church Episcopal was chartered in Beatrice in August, 1873. The present stone structure at 5th and Lincoln Street was erected in 1890; the chapel in 1916; the parish hall in 1923; and the rectory in 1951. All properties are on the National Historic Registry.
The Church , located on the corner of 5th & Lincoln Streets, is a well known landmark in our community due in part by the many red crosses that are on the roof.
